It's been awhile that I haven't been out to Manhattan and this time it happened. Lorie, Aiden and muah went to Rockefeller to see the christmas tree then to Bryant park where my favorite flea market was there. Then we saw the christmas tree and the ice skating rink. Then off to Timesquare which was so cool although it was a cold night. We ate at Applebee's and oh before i forget we did dropped by Sanrio.... I wanted to buy someting from there but i couldn't find anything that i really wanted. Anyway hopefully next time. I had fun with Lorie even with Aiden in tow. We'll try to post more photos next time.

Synopsis

Easy Cornflake cookie

I was looking for a very simple recipe of making cookies and having in mind that I don't have enough ingredients at hand. When i found this recipe I immediately tried it and it was succesful. Peeps loved it. Still looking for new ways to add some ingredients to it.

I found out about this healthy snack from my cousin Mel. Since she was pregnant she needed a healthy snack and found this at an Asian supermarket. It consists of dried fruits and vegetables. It really is good for you.

Tiramisu

I saw this easy tiramisu recipe on TV and found it on the internet. I tried it and yes it was a success, Ian did liked it. I just might plan to do this recipe and bring it on a special occasion one of these days.

I also baked some muffcake as i call it. Pancakes that i turned it into muffin/cupcake recipe just added sugar and voila muffcake. I should had taken some photos but i forgot. That's for now peeps! Until next time....

BACK TO NORMAL maybe????

I missed updating my blog and i've been so into FB (facebook) lately playing games that i completely ignored my blog as well as my dramas. Once you get in you just get addicted to it besides the fact that I can't just stay in front of the computer all the time since Aiden would be trying to squeeze in with me and would mention "watch Thomas": "watch Cars" etc... etc... etc...

I just had to blog now that I have a few moments before Aiden wakes up. I miss the simplicity of blogging and not being watched or stalked by peeps that I wouldn't want them to see the other side of me. I guess I share just a few sides of me in my blog and a few in FB. I'm afraid that someone would read it and figure out who I am... It's a scary thought that a lot of peeps can abuse the power of blogs specially for the kids nowadays.

I'll be trying to post photos next time. It feels good to blog again. I promise i would do so and less FB for me hahaha!!!

Time flies so fast it was just like yesterday that it was Aiden's 1st birthday but now he's 2 y/o. I've got lots of hopes and dreams for my little one. I do hope whatever he wants to be in the future he would get it and enjoy life as it is. It's has been awhile that i haven't blog at all. Been busy playing games at Facebook. I know I've been hooked and i did tell myself that this would be the last time i would be joining any websites. Hopefully will try to blog more and share more stuffs. Yesterday morning i was happy to find out that my cousin has given birth to a healthy baby boy. His name is Kayne Fule born on August 3, 2009 at 8:02 am 7.1 lbs and 19 inches. He's such a cute little angel. he reminded me of Aiden when he was born quiet and would only be crying if he was hungry or needed a diaper change. Everyone was excited to see him. The joys of motherhood.

Family picture time!!!

It was a good weekend enjoying it with my family and friends. We had a great time especially the kids. I was really happy that Ian could join us one of those gatherings worth remembering. He usually at work since he's the only one working for now but hopefully in the future i could be too. Anyway everyone had a great time and i was happy to see my brother it's been a long time. Life is good! Everyone's healthy and happy. It was Aiden's firsat time to go to the beach.The fireworks was spectacular though Aiden was afraid at first but then another factor is that he was sleepy and tired from playing all day. By the end of the fireworks he fell asleep.

I am looking forward to see my other cousin ate Jen with her husband Dhon since Dhon would be assigned in New York. That makes it easier for Ate Jen to join us in gatherings/parties etc... Oh yup i did try making Tiramisu and it passed Ian's taste buds. So i made another one and will try to post a photo of it in my next blog. Hoped everyone enjoyed 4th of July. Sam Wang ( pinyin: Wáng Shào Wĕi) is a Taiwanese actor, singer and a model. Sam is a member of two Taiwanese groups 5566 and 183 Club. At one point, he played on the Taiwan national soccer team.

Sam Wang Shao Wei started playing Soccer when the class 3 primary schools started the Soccer program. His achievements in Soccer are equal to those in the entertainment field. He played 13 years of Soccer. Before his 5566 debut in 2002, every Soccer match in Taiwan both big and small, featured Wang Shao Wei on its players list. On June 26, 2002, Shao Wei became the Soccer coach for one of the community activities Soccer teams. Shao Wei showed some kung fu soccer steps. As an artist, he helped improve the positive reputation of Taiwanese Soccer. His managing company (Jungiery) worked with him to help balance his soccer and entertainment activities.

In 2004, Shao Wei released a book called 明星入門100招 (100 Ways To Become A Star).

CHOCOLATE CAKE

Tha last time I went at Mitsuwa's Market I bought this scrumptious chocolate cake which felt was heavenly in every bite. I just had to buy it again the next time i go there which happened last Monday. I was so excited after we ate our lunch because i just had to buy one at the market. The cake itself was a product of Japan and it really looks yummy but then if you look at the second photo closely half of it was gone. My favorite guy Ian, got hungry and he ate half of it when i got back from the bathroom there it was crying out my name. (hahaha!) Poor chocolate cake!!! So before i even start to eat it and i had to take photos of it. For me it sort of reminds me the taste of chocolate mousse of Red Ribbon back home (Philippines). It was that good!!! Can't wait to go back in Mitsuwa and buy it again! hehehe! Enjoy the weekend!

SAM WANG

A few months had passed and I was supposed to watch the drama THE MAGICIANS OF LOVE but as predicted of me when i started it i got lazy and forgot about it. Just last week as I was looking for new movies to watch I came across it again and this time I cheated (yes i do cheat sometimes but not when it comes to love!!!), I started to watch it but I started like in the middle of it and so that's how I saw Sam Wang. I had a crush on him I guess it's because of his bad boy character, Richie and i just knew that his character belongs to the Xiao Bei but then i know that in the end she'll end up with Ya si. I don't know if I would finish it to the end or end it from where he finally let her go. Anyway above is Sam Wang's photo and he is cute!!! Enjoy the rest of the week!

So i finally finished the movie and i loved it. The four guys are so cool having their own life and socializing with people at tha cake shop. I would recommend it for everyone to watch. Every scenes were hilarious and i do love the character of Joo Ji Hoon plus the three guys it made the movie so much cooler.

I never thought i would see Joo Ji Hoon in a more mature character than being the Prince at Princess Hours. I liked his character though being young and brave to show his feelings for her. Especially the part he sings her a love song at the parking lot but then again it's a complicated situation. I think everyone did a great job with their characters esp Morae's bestfriend. I love how Morae's character grew from being an innocent woman to a more mature one. Enjoy the week ahead!!!!

I BELIEVE

I do believe that everyone of us has it's own journey to go through in life. It's just that we have our own unique way of getting there. No one has the right to criticize you or make fun of how you get through that journey. No matter how hard or how slow it may take you to get there at least in your heart you have set your own goals. I can't think of what people would say about how my life is going right now but I just can't let them put me down and talk behind my back as if I was this non-existential person that has no feelings at all. All I could say is SHUT UP!!!

Now that it's out of the way and out of my system i'm just so grateful that i have a peace of mind and that all my loved ones are healthy. I have never been happy enjoying my life now but i know that in time things would be different. I still keep a positive thinking. I have to keep myself from thinking too much of stuffs and I'd rather enjoy the time i have now than worry too much of things around me.

It's My Life...

Last night I talked to my cousin and learned about certain stuffs that's going on with my life. As she tells me this i could feel some tears falling from my eyes but she (my cousin) reminded me that I do not have to make this a big deal since I am living my own life and that what i'm going through it's just a phase. Whatever i have right now is not forever... there will come a time that things would change. I know that I can not please everybody and I know that I can not let their expectations affect me right now. That ME right now is fine and still working on stuffs but if I listen to them, they'll be just putting me down instead of helping me grow and pursue my dreams. I just feel that I'm tired of explaining myself to these people... tired and pissed off for making me feel so useless when I know that I'm not... I still have my dreams and it will come at the right moment. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.... When one door closes... a window or a door will open.... It's just a matter of time and for those who don't believe me I thank you. There's nothing more to say.... With that here's a qoute i'd like to share with everyone.

17 AGAIN

I had a fun weekend last April 24-26, my cousins pick us up, Aiden and me, and then we went to pick up Keshia our little cousin who was visiting from the Philippines. We had plan to meet up with papa Jay, Theye and Mervin at Babu near Newport mall and after that we went to Hooters for dinner at route 22. We rarely go out and when we do I usually grab the chance even for just a little while. Saturday morning we had no idea where would we go since it was a beautiful day as we drive along we ended up at Woodbury Common Outlet Mall. Although there sales on all stores but then the prices aren't that low but as we are going through recessions I don't think the people care that much for the parking lots were still full. We, Aiden and me, were suppposed to be home by that evening but we extended it til Sunday. So that evening we, Keshia and me, went to see a movie and as you can all see it was 17 AGAIN... which by the way i've been wanting to see since i saw the trailer on the tv.

It was a really good movie. It was funny and at the same time realistic. I love the part when he goes back as a 17 year old boy but deep down he's still the 37 year old guy. Zac Efron's acting was superb and he was believable and cute (you're lucky Vanessa Hudgens!!!). I also love his bestfriend Ned, he was cool but dorky. It made the whole movie hilarious especially the scene where he first saw Mike as a 17 year old boy. Here's some quotes that i liked from the movie.

WISH TO SEE YOU AGAIN

The latest drama I've been watching lately besides I Love Betty La Fea Philippine version. I love, love Vic Zhou so much! He's really cute and well he is a good actor. This drama has been inspiring me lately and maybe one of these days I would eventually write something... i miss writing my poems and writing short stories. But every now and then I would compose a poem but not as much as during highschool and college. I even have a book full of poems and i do wish i could compile it and make it into a book someday.
